Welcome to the Concours Owners Group (COG) web site. Visitors and prospective club members will find information to become better informed about our organization, its camaraderie, rides, rallies & other activities, and technical support for Kawasaki's premiere sport touring machines - the classic Kawasaki Concours and Kawasaki Concours 14 (the GTR1000 and GTR1400 respectively in Europe). This web site also serves as the COG Member Online Services (COGMOS) portal, providing access to our event calendar & registration, discussion forum, online library and archive, and COG member only benefits.
Formed in 1989 to serve the interests of Kawasaki Concours and Kawasaki GTR enthusiasts worldwide, COG has evolved to become a premier sport touring club. Over the years volunteer members have run over 1,500 rallies and events to provide members, guests, and friends the opportunity to join together for riding and social activities, and to share their enjoyment for the sport of motorcycling. 2014 Kawasaki Concours 14
Just like the initial introduction in 1986, the Concours 14 is one of the finest Sport Touring motorcycles being made today. For 2014 the available colors are Metallic Spark Black and Candy Cardinal Red. Features remain unchanged from the past model year and include a fairing design to reduce heat, heated grips, traction control/second generation ABS, and fuel economy mode. Kawi Perfecting the C14 - Our C14 Tech Editor Reviews the 2010 Connie
Many of the changes to the 2010 model are a direct result of the feedback Kawasaki received. (For example, I immediately noticed that the oil drain plug has been moved to the front of the engine case to increase lower ground clearance. Another one is the bike now only comes with one key FOB card that actively transmits a signal, versus the two that came on previous years.....
