 Camping

We can not emphasize enough that Mount Snow Resort is a ski resort and does not have camping facilities. They have agreed to create a tent camping area on an open, grassy area at one of the base lodges. Do not expect to find shade trees and level ground at a ski resort.

The resort chose to use Sundance Lodge. It is the closest lodge to Grand Summit, which is rally central. You can find it n the lodging map linked to n this page. To appease the fire marshal, there will be only one (1) communal fire pit for all campers to share. The resort will provide firewood at no additional cost. There is room for a limited number of RVs in an unpaved parking lot next to Sundance and the resort will be able to provide a few electrical & water hookups, but not waste. Preliminary pricing have tent camping at $10 per person per night, and if RV is available it will be an additional $40. Contact Mount Snow central reservation for complete details.

  • Lavatory facilities will be provided and portable showers will be set up at Sundance lodge.
  • Reservations are required for tent and RV camping. Campsite selection are first come, first served.
  • You will be allowed to choose your camping area. Please be respectful and only use the space you need.
  • Dogs are not permitted on the Resort grounds.  Please arrange to leave your dog home, in a nearby kennel or find another campground.  Strictly enforced.
  • Campground quite hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.  Please be respectful of your neighbors. Campfire must be extinguished during quite hours.
