I have finally dropped my bike while coming to a stop on loose gravel. Luckily, I installed the bars last summer and they paid for themselves. The bike hit the bars and stood upright on them, I was able to get off the bike and lift it upright. I then made a speedy escape, as this all happend in front of a funeral in the middle of nowhere. If you don't have tip over bars, buy them. The are more than worth it.

Dan, Those tip-over bars are well worth it for sure. C10 or C14? Assuming a C10. What speed did you tip over at? Less than 5 mph? Just getting the details for qualifications for a CDA.

A few days after taking delivery of my brand new '05 Connie, I installed Murphs' Tip Over Bars. Shortly after, being not yet familiar with the new bike, I dropped it at a gas station. No broken mirror or plastic, just light scuffing under the front bar.... Yes, the bars are a good investment !
