Beat the Heat SE Summer Social

This year's SE Beat The Heat summer social is being held at the Big Lynn Lodge in Little Switzerland, NC. Room rates include Dinner (6p-7p) & Breakfast (7:30a-9a) for two. The lodge has a pool table, corn hole boards, fire pit with complimentary fire wood and amazing views.

As many of you know, hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on the area. Big Lynn Lodge sustained minimal damage and provided much needed relief during and after the event. They were a distribution hub for supplies and provided free meals for many in the area.

Many of the roads were damaged by Helene but are on track to be repaired according to NCDOT. The BRP may not be open or only short sections, we will not know until closer to the dates. While the roads may not be 100% repaired, we anticipate minimal impact on your riding.

Come to the Little Switzerland for great riding and a chance to speak with friends, old and new, around the fire pit.

Rates: Two room choices, Parkway or Mountain view with either King or two beds. Please specify when making a reservation.

((Thursday) $125 (Parkway) $140 (Mountain), either 1 or 2 beds for 1 or 2 people, includes breakfast & dinner for 2 occupants.
(Friday & Saturday) $155 (Parkway) or $170 (Mountain), either 1 or 2 beds for 1 or 2 people, includes breakfast & dinner for 2 occupants.

When reserving a room, contact Kelly at the lodge phone number or email above and mention you are with the Concours Owners Group. COG has a block of rooms which will be held until June 1st. If reserving after that, you will be subject to general room availability.

A one-night deposit required.
Cancellation policy: Within seven days of planned arrival = loss of deposit. Twenty or more days in advance of arrival = loss of $20 of deposit.

In case of inclement weather, the lodge will notify Ron or Kurt and we will post it on the forum, FB, and follow up with an email. If weather closes them down, deposits will be refunded.

To reduce room cost, get a roommate. Remember room rates include dinner & breakfast for two.

Pet friendly and non-smoking except outside
One parking space per room (double up with your roommate's bike).
Overflow parking across the street if you trailer or need more space.
Dinner is served from 6pm to 7pm, Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 9am.

Registration/Fees

The are no registration fees, but we're asking everyone to register online so we know who to expect. Remember to reserve a room before June 1. Reservations made June 1st or later will be subject to general room availability.
