Run with the Wolf
The 2025, 31st edition of Run with the Wolf is open for registration! The messaging is the same as previous rally's, but please read through the below!

Sept 4 - 7, 2025. Come a little early or stay a little late. It's all good. The official rally is Sept 5 & 6, 2025, kicking off on Friday morning and starts at check-in. It ends at mid-night on Saturday.

Food
Included in the rally fee is a Saturday night banquet BBQ dinner catered by the TWoS staff.  Remember to wear the wristband you will receive at check-in to the banquet dinner (no wristband = no dinner). Having a headcount is also crucial for the TWoS staff to plan for our meal (so please try to register early!).

TWoS Restaurant will serve for general folks outside out of our rally Friday - Sunday.  So, if you're coming early, plan accordingly!  All other meals are at your cost.

Camping & Lodging
Camping

Two Wheels of Suches (TWoS), also known as TWO (Two Wheels Only), has

camp sites that will have electricity available for those who need it (e.g., if you have a CPAP or a need where electricity is important to your health).  Otherwise, wide open fields, tree cover, creek view spots are all over.

You don't need to make reservations if you are tent camping as usual. TWoS is currently at $20 per night camping on the grounds.

Cabins
TWoS also has 8 cabins available for booking.  These will go fast, if not already gone, so make your reservation as soon as possible.  Again, keep an eye on the thread as beds or cabins do come up.  Cabin rates are currently at $70 per night.

Lodge Rooms
TWoS also has a limited number of lodge rooms available on a first come, first served basis.  Make your reservations early for a lodge room or a cabin if you don't plan to tent camp.  Mention COG when booking a cabin or lodge room.  Ditto on above, they are currently booked for the event already so if looking for one, keep an eye on the threads for someone canceling.  Lodgerates are at $80 per night.

To check on availability or make a reservation for one of the cabins or a lodge room, use TWoS' new online booking system at https://twowheelsofsuches.com/contact-us/ or call (706) 973-1671.  Plus, you can actually see a picture of our group on their home page during one of our banquets!  How cool are we?

RV Parking
There is limited RV parking but NO hookups at TWoS.  If you need/want hookups, there are other camping resorts nearby.  Please google those.

Registration/Fees
Registration fee is $35.00 for COG Members/Associate Members, and $45.00 for guests and non-members (including Forum-Only subscribers).

T-shirt design and purchase process will be posted soon!

When you arrive, look for the COG check-in point on the deck to the left of the lodge.  At check-in, you will receive a wristband that will be needed for the banquet dinner on Saturday.  And a couple goodies to carry home in your saddle bag.  Looking forward to seeing you there!

Registration closes at 11:59 pm (EDT) on August 22, 2025. This is so Skip, Carol and the team at TWoS can plan, order and get the banquet set up. Slight change of the meal this year. Going with... a bit of a change!

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellations must be received no later than Friday, August 29, 2025 by emailing events@concours.org. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after August 29, 2025.

A Statement About Minors

As some of you may already know, getting insurance for COG events has become more difficult and is requiring many new risk management procedures. The North Central Area Director Gary Mazzola has been working hard to help get COG through these new challenges. The amount of time he has spent on the phone working things out must be staggering. These new procedures and requirements are not specific to COG, but are for all groups getting insurance through the AMA insurance provider.

One of the many changes is the waiver process for minors.

Minors attending a COG rally MUST have a waiver signed by BOTH PARENTS. Guardian (signatures) are not acceptable. What this means for example is, Uncles and Grandparents cannot show up with a child and sign the waiver as a guardian for the child. It also means that any parent that is not attending the event in person must send a signed and notarized waiver to the event. (this is not a COG rule, it is a rule of the underwriters.) Whether the minor is riding or not riding at the event, is not a factor. Attending the event is the factor. So, to be clear, if a father shows up with a child under the age of 18, he must both sign the minor waiver himself AND supply a notarized signed copy from the mother as well. The AMA waiver form itself has not been updated and still mentions "Guardians", however the insurance company has been very clear in the form that COG (me in the SE case) has to fill out to get the insurance:

BOTH PARENTS MUST SIGN THE WAIVER (UNLESS ONE PARENT INDICATES THEY HAVE SOLE CUSTODY). IF NOT PRESENT AT THE EVENT, A NOTARIZED WAIVER MUST BE PROVIDED AND SIGNED BY BOTH PARENTS. A GUARDIAN CANNOT SIGN FOR A MINOR PARTICIPANT.

I have no idea if any minors are in people's plans to attend COG events but we have had minors show up to COG events in the past and I wanted this out in time to comply with the requirements.

The waiver is attached and is also available for download at the AMA website: https://americanmotorcyclist.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/AMA-Minor-Recreation.pdf

Thank you for your understanding.

Just a suggestion for your consideration:

It would be a good practice to have medical information available that would remain available with a parent/guardian or on the child's person. The attached form is a guide and is not intended to be shared with COG nor the AMA, it is only to be supplied to attending medical personnel if needed. You should keep it with you while you are riding or at the event.

It's also a good idea for all adult attendees to have with them, perhaps kept with their drivers license or medical insurance card. Perhaps a list of medications on the back of the form wouldn't be a terrible idea. These are things that would be easier to do at home before the event.
